LMU is saddened to confirm that a deceased individual was found earlier today in a restroom within the VDA Building. The individual was not a current or former student, faculty, or staff member, nor an alum of the university. LMU Campus Safety is cooperating with the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office as they conduct their investigation. The investigation is ongoing, but initial findings do not suggest foul play. Out of respect for the individual, no further information will be shared at this time. There is no threat to the campus community.
