LMU and the SEIU Local 721 Non-Tenure Track (NTT) bargaining unit met on March 28, 2025, for the fifth bargaining session as part of the ongoing process toward reaching a first collective bargaining agreement.

The NTT bargaining unit presented nine additional proposals.

The university prepared five counter proposals and was able to present one counter proposal during the session.

The university and NTT bargaining unit had a productive discussion on a number of proposals and on the university’s counter proposal. As the teams ran out of time, there was an agreement that the university will present the remaining four counter proposals at the next session.

The university team is continuing to prepare thoughtful responses to each of the proposals received from the union.

Updates will continue to be shared on LMU’s Non-Tenure-Track Faculty Bargaining website as negotiations progress, reaffirming our shared commitment to providing a world-class education for our students.
